Project Scope / Responsibilities
- Posting journal entries in SAP and supporting month-end close activities
- Processing and allocating bank transactions for assigned accounts
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations with proper documentation
- Supporting SOX controls and internal/external audit requests
- Preparing payroll-related accounting entries and payments
- Contributing to the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures
- Driving efficiency improvements across systems and finance operations
- Supporting ad-hoc accounting and finance projects
- Assisting with US GAAP and local statutory reporting
Skills & Experience
- Background in an international finance environment, preferably life sciences or pharma
- Experience transitioning general ledger activities into SSC/GBS structures
- Comfortable handling daily transactional work in a fast-moving, evolving environment (hybrid model)
- Strong ERP and accounting systems knowledge (SAP S/4HANA, Blackline or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
